Tech and democracy

I would like to give an alternative methodology on how to approach democracy based on contemporary computing and network technology.

To make a modern form of direct democracy work you would need to:

1) Give up the anonymity of the vote, because no technological system can be made secure and private if there is no transparency.
2) The technological infrastructure ( both hardware and software ), which is open source, redundant ( multiple and diversified technological solutions working concurrently giving the same results ), developed by citizen communities, decentralized, encrypted and free as in cost and terms of use.

The main difference of this modern direct democracy with respect to a conventional democratic systems is that governments are always elected, and they do not have a fixed mandate lasting for a given number of years.

This modern direct democracy is defined by the following principles:

1) Citizens have the freedom to change expressed votes on representatives and reforms at any time at any place.
2) The representative voting power for any given reform is equivalent to the number of citizens they represent at that given moment.
3) Citizens can directly intervene on laws and reforms by direct vote, bypassing representatives for any arbitrary voting instances.

I would love to hear your opinion on the matter.
