Thanksgiving after action report.

I am still recovering....the most shocking thing was how bad the food was....it was everyone bring something......there was over 20 different things....I tried almost everything.......other than what I brought only the turkey, ham, and gravy were remotely good.

What the Hell?

Lots of kids.....they were basically hellions......with a guy my age approving "Back when I was a kid kids were seen and not heard...this is great".

The conversation was mostly low quality chit chat....it did not seem like anyone was making an effort.

What was your experience?

Sister came in from Salt Lake City. She lost her husband six weeks ago. A friend and his daughter. We have two cats and they prowled all afternoon. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole (which was pretty good), rolls, and pies galore. We stuffed are selves full. Then watched the Cowboys victory over the Chiefs.

We had a very good time. My friend had surgery two weeks ago was able to get out to walk over to our place (about five condos distance), and he said it did him well. We met his daughter, very grown and no children and no husband, long out of grad school. Very nice, and very interesting.

Lots of good times and laughs.

And the cats got stuffed as well.

WOW....and I heard that there was a very good game on this year....I dont watch football anymore, or any sport, other than Super Bowl....but from back when I did I know that a good game really adds to the day.
