Yeah, but it has possibilities anyway. For example, some people hold the opinion that scientific opinion is validated to the extent it conforms with political opinion. Other people hold the opinion that this opinion is foolish.
Some people holding the first opinion are of the opinion that those who say their opinion is foolish are expressing a political opinion themselves, which in many cases would be a wrong opinion since scientific opinion is validated in their opinion on its own merits.
