U.S. Coast Guard Responds to fascist Felonious Trump Firing DEI Commandant: We Will Patrol and Secure America’s Maritime Boundaries

Fascist dictator Felonious Trump has deployed U.S. troops to the borders primarily to address issues related to immigration and border security.

Here are several key reasons based on recent developments and statements:

  • National Emergency Declaration: Fascist dictator Felonious Trump declared a national emergency at the southern border, which legally enables the use of military resources for border security tasks. This move was aimed at sealing off the border to stop what he referred to as an invasion by undocumented immigrants, narcotics trafficking, human smuggling, and other criminal activities
  • Support for Border Security: The troops are tasked with aiding U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This includes activities like detection, data analysis, and weapons support, though they are not directly involved in law enforcement activities.
  • Countering Drug Cartels: Fascist dictator Felonious Trump has also designated drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, authorizing the use of military force directed at combating these groups, which are threats contributing to border security issues.

These actions collectively suggest that fascist dictator Felonious Trump's decision to deploy troops is multifaceted, combining national security, and law enforcement support.

The mission of the United States military is multifaceted but can be summarized through several key objectives:

  1. Defense of the Homeland - Protecting the United States, its territories, and citizens from external threats and attacks.
  2. Deterrence - Preventing potential adversaries from initiating conflicts by maintaining a strong, credible military force that discourages aggression.
  3. Support to Civil Authorities - Assisting in domestic emergencies like natural disasters, providing support for law enforcement when requested, and other homeland security tasks.
  4. Counterterrorism - Combating terrorism both domestically and abroad to protect national security interests.

This mission is guided by the principles outlined in documents like the National Defense Strategy and is subject to the directives of the President and the civilian leadership of the Department of Defense.

So the Mexican army could invade us and we couldn't use our army to defend us. :dunno:
That sounds like a fantasy scenario on multiple levels. There is no reason to believe the Mexican Army would invade the USA. If they did, the US Army would defend us.

The latest incident involving gunfire between U.S. Border Patrol agents and suspected Mexican cartel members occurred in Fronton, Texas. On January 27, 2025, Border Patrol agents were fired upon by suspected cartel gunmen while a group of migrants was being smuggled across the Rio Grande. The agents reportedly returned fire, but fortunately, there were no injuries on either side of the conflict. The group of migrants did not successfully cross into the U.S. following the exchange of gunfire.

This event has heightened tensions at the U.S.-Mexico border, especially in light of recent executive orders by President Donald Trump, who designated Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. Following the gunfire exchange, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has been patrolling the area, utilizing drones for surveillance, and Mexican military assets were seen staging on the other side of the river, indicating an active response to the incident.

The area where the incident took place, near Fronton Island, has been a known hotspot for cartel activities, with the island itself being the subject of territorial disputes between Texas and Mexico. The incident underscores the ongoing challenges and dangers faced by border enforcement officers amid increased border security measures and the persistent control of cartels over border smuggling routes.

They invaded us in the past and it caused a war that lasted two years.
It is a bit more complex than that. The border between Texas and Mexico was not well defined, so both sides could claim the other side was invading. There were definitely filibusters(heavily armed American civilians) moving over the border.

Anyway, it happened 180 years ago, and so hardly a reasonable example of what is happening now.

But that does bring up a historical event closer to the present. A little over a 100 years ago, we fought a minor war with Mexicans for almost a decade. The Mexican-American Border War included the Mexican rebel Pancho Villa crossing the border and attacking Columbus, New Mexico. It also involved several punitive and occupation forces invading Mexico.

It was caused by Mexico descending into chaos, and is an important reason that American presidents before trump tried so hard to keep Mexico stable. Before trump, everyone thought it would be a very bad thing to create problems in Mexico.
