Yep, as all the MAGA pundits, politicos and die hard supporters lie to America and to themselves as to the disaster that this second coming of the Cheeto Jeezus president is causing, I think it will be a fantastic spectacle to witness the level of denial, lies, and start realizations when this current wave of weather disasters continues with increased furor across our RED states. I'm talking about the current administration's war on the federal gov't, which is crippling (if not outright trying to eliminate) the very agencies set up to help our country when natural disasters strike.

Yes, as the wind whistles up the shorts of the weather refugees standing outside the rubble that use to be their homes, I can only wonder what goes through their minds when they realize that neighborly/local & state support can only go so far ... and they inadvertently voted for such.

I'm not sure if you fully grasp how the English language works, but "denial" is the only option when observing a lack of something, e.g. a disaster. If there is no disaster, all one can do is deny any disaster. I hope that helps.

It's perfectly OK to cripple, and/or abolish, a government organization, especially ones that are ineffective. It really doesn't matter what their purpose is or what they were "set up" to accomplish. If they aren't accomplishing what We the People want, they should be eliminated.

Also, We the People should get into the habit of insisting our Federal government shut down for a few months every year, just to remind us that we absolutely don't need a Federal government that must run 24/7, and maybe We can project ahead a few years and agree for the Federal government to just be shut down for about a year straight in, say, 2028/9. Let's do it as an experiment and see if the planet explodes.

Why would that happen? What if FEMA and other useless government agencies were abolished and the States had that money available to assist their own residents? The money would actually get to the people who need it, as opposed to being siphoned off to pay $millions to celebrities to endorse Democrat candidates.

... because the Federal government won't release the funding to the States to disburse it to the people who need it.
