The 47th Follies: the voter ID shuffle.

Just because two empty headed blondes (it's not a hair color so much as a lifestyle choice) are against it is not reason to oppose it. That is, unless you are a blonde too.

To register to vote (a one-time act unless you change residence) you need to provide proof of citizenship. That is, a birth certificate, real ID, passport, or the like. Not too difficult to do since you aren't particularly time constrained in doing this.

To vote you need a government photo ID. This is no different than what you need to open a bank account, drive a vehicle, get a loan-- even a payday loan--or join the military. It isn't a burden.

But the idiots--like those women in the videos--on the Left don't think. They parrot talking points and are, well, idiots.

Seriously, do you actually comprehend what you hear/read (if you actually did open the links) or are you just stubbornly parroting MAGA talking points to the point of insipidness .... or are you just plain old fucking stupid?

In the 2nd video, you should pay particular attention to her #4 on the list. In the 1st video #1 and #3 are vitally important.

And keep in mind....you have MAGA controlled states that are passing laws where college I.D.'s are no longer valid proof for voter registration. That means that a college kid who may or may not be strapped for cash would have to take time out of his class routine to travel to a voter registration station....that is AFTER he has to wait for all the needed documents to register to be sent from home.

So essentially, this ploy by the GOP is to eliminate a swath of voters from the mid-term and/or 2028 elections.

Stop and think, gumby. Your passport DOES NOT have your home address on it, YET it is considered VALID proof of identity for a plethora of official registrations ... like obtaining a state driver/non-driver ID license if the latter has expired.

Now, stop acting stupid and listen to what the woman is saying.

She offers no proof of what she claims in #1. Since registration to vote is not time sensitive--you can do it any time--there is little issue with you getting and providing the needed documents ONE TIME to do so. If you wanted to join the military you'd need those documents. If you needed a security clearance for your job you'd need those documents. If you wanted to get a passport you'd need those documents. If you want a Real ID, you'd need those documents.

She is full of shit on this claim.

On #3 it's the same thing. She simply parrots the Left's talking points. What? The elderly or low income can't get a Real ID? How do they fly on an airplane? Plenty of elderly go on vacations and take airplane flights. If you can get a Real ID, you have the documents needed to register to vote. Same goes for other groups she mentions.

College ID's don't prove residence in a state. Why should they be accepted? An out-of-state college student isn't a resident of the state they're going to college in. Why should that state accept their college ID as valid proof they can vote locally? As for the inconvenience of having to register in person, that's nothing but an irrelevant appeal to pity.

So, this is essentially a ploy by the Democrats and Left to minimize or eliminate all requirements for proof of eligibility to vote. That's a huge problem.

My passport (and I do have one) proves I'm a US citizen. A state might require additional proof of residence, like they do for Real ID's.

Accepting a college ID as proof of eligibility to vote is like saying you can use your Amazon employee badge as ID for that purpose. How absurd is that?

- Maga bitches about any type of new tax, yet you have no problem with putting new costs to obtain various forms if government documents on the people.

- college id can be used to obtain drivers licenses in some states, as well as to establish voting rights. Look it up.

- given various state bureaucracy and the addition of in person registration, there would not be time to meet the criteria by the midterms should this pass the SENATE now.

- equating being blonde as dumb is a stereotype. I thought MAGA wasn't into that?

- the GOP got the congressional edge and Dump won twice using the very voting system they now swear is corrupt. Only a complete Maga mook would try to deny the sheer dishonesty and hypocrisy of this bogus "Save America Vote" nonsense.
