The actual difference

After WEEKS of reading both sides of the wall issue; I've come to the following conclusion, as to what the real difference is between those wanting the wall and those who don't.

Those who don't want the wall, would rather focus on the illegal immigrants being caught AFTER they ender the US; no matter how they enter

and

Those who want the wall would rather stop them from entering the US illegally, to begin with.

Side note:
No one has suggested that the wall is going to stop ALL illegal immigration; but once it curtails the ground border problem, the other methods can then be looked at.

No, those opposing Trump's Wall aren't against border security as Trump would like you to think, rather, they oppose pissing away five billion now and more down the road on a "big, beautiful, thirty foot high, reinforced concrete Wall"

The arguement isn't about securing the border, the Democrats have supported numerous border security measures to include funding for fencing and barriors, but about the need for Trump's inane "big, beautiful, tremendous, thirty foot high, concrete reinforced Wall"

It was only 6 months ago that the media's base were crying that there was a crisis at the border. Now they are crying that there isn't one. Really, if Trump said that the wall was a stupid idea, they'd start asking for the wall.

A lot of people who oppose the wall just don't think that it's worth it because immigrants, whether legal or illegal, tend to commit less crime than natives. Which is understandable, since we're talking about five billion dollars.

A lot of people who oppose the wall just don't think that it's worth it because immigrants, whether legal or illegal, tend to commit less crime than natives. Which is understandable, since we're talking about five billion dollars.

Of course it does. Lots of people who don't want the wall do want to stop illegal immigrants at the border, they just don't want to do it with a wall.
