America can't be great with only half the nation. We need everybody.

No plan to make America great again can exclude liberals or expect them to become conservative. (or visa versa)

Liberals are here to stay and they are not going away.

So are conservatives.

Anybody who hates liberals, and cannot envision a future which includes them, is not being realistic. They need to rethink their vision.

Diversity Makes America Great.

Hatred makes America worse, not better.

A workable vision for America's future must include everybody.

It can't be solely a liberal vision or a conservative vision. It must include elements of both. That is our challenge. We won't conquer it through hatred.

Love is the only way!

If you love America, you must love Americans.

And you can begin by ending hostilities here. You're not going to convince anybody you are right by calling them names or being mean. Why not simply listen; and learn why people believe what they do? Accept that they believe differently. If you don't think anybody else is going to change your own view, why do you think you are going to change theirs? That's not the point of this place. All you can hope to get out of this place is a little insight.

And perhaps, a bit of wisdom.

What you will find is that if you can conduct yourself here without flaming, you will gain valuable techniques for being able to converse more effectively in real life, and become easier to get along with. That will get you more friends, and you will enjoy life more. And isn't that the point? After all, the secret of life is enjoying the passage of time.

Thread thievery is the tool of trolls. It's what people do when they have been so impolite they got banned from a conversation. And then they're sorry and they feel left out. So they steal the thread, call it their own. Then they think they can be in the original conversation. But they can't. If you think thread thievery is cheap and low then don't support it. Save your comments for the original PoliTalker thread. PoliTalker thanks you.
