Well. I brought the bees home last night. The queen isn't laying yet, but we were able to find the queen in the hive yesterday. I have placed them on the stand I built near one of my trees. They'll get the hot part of the day in shade, but the morning and evenings will have sunshine on the hive keeping them more active and hopefully generating more honey.
I'll feed them for a week or two while they get oriented, and I'll try to get some pictures for y'all. I'll have to put in the feeding can when I get home so I should be able to get some then, if I remember.
