Enough of this. For starters, Putin - former KGB - knew EXACTLY how to play Trump. Remember when he called Trump a genius? Trump couldn't have been more flattered and malleable.

But he LOVED Trump in office. They shared 2 goals:

1) Weaken western democracy
2) Weaken NATO

Trump was doing Putin's work for him. Say what you want about Bolton, but he even confirmed yesterday that Putin was "waiting" for a Trump 2nd term & the U.S. withdrawing from NATO.

Putin loved Trump. He wasn't "afraid" of him. This is a ridiculous right-wing myth, just like the Big Lie.

If I remember right, Obama imposed sanctions on Russia, when Russia annexed the Crimea, Trump was going to left these sanctions on Russia, but was prevented from doing so by a veto proof resolution of the house and senate. If someone says that Trump was tough on Russia they're full of shit.
