On November 12, Trump’s favorite channel OANN carried a sensational report: "Election systems across the country are found to have deleted millions of votes cast for President Trump." It cited an analysis of data from Edison Research, an election monitoring group.

Trump tweeted:

The president of Edison Research issued a statement: "Edison Research has produced no such report and we have no evidence of any voter fraud."

Trump didn’t tweet that. A month later the original tweet is still up, and millions of his dupes “know” there was massive election fraud.
