Well we had companies that were competing and some were near bankruptcy. Along come organized criminals to lend them money to keep their doors open(as silent partners). Eventually, little by little the criminals scheme till they own the company and give the previous owner an offer he cant refuse.......To give these silent partners some legitimacy they invented the stock market. Notice how so many owners are stepping down as CEO/President/owners/founders of companies? You ever wonder why? They are being forced down by the stock holders.

Now a counter argument used was that they needed money....

Really? I though that is what banks were for! LOL And they ask for a heck of alot less then stock holders. Sorry, don't buy it.

What could possibly make me lets say an owner of a successful business, give away shares and profit? It makes no business sense. Also if I were a CEO/President/Owner/Founder. Who the heck would force me to step down?
