The British public is disconnected from the reality of Brexit

There are politicians for whom a well-informed public on Brexit is now the enemy

“What are we like 44 days away from Brexit and they haven’t got a clue!” he said. “ They can’t even decide for themselves what Brexit means! This is idiocy of epic proportions.”

The bicycle helmet he was wearing only added to his credibility. A man who can still think about saving the planet when he has got news of losing his job of 24 years deserves our attention.

The man’s words were a direct attack on the British political class’s handling of the matter, and all the more powerful because it was from someone who is directly affected.

Brexit was pushed by Cambridge analytical, Russian hackers and Bannon. It was subjected to the same treatment as other countries in Europe and our 2016 election. We are wrong to treat 2016 as a one-off shot at disrupting the American election. It is an cabal that seeks to install right wing anti immigration policies in Democracies around the world.

What do you make of Ian Austin MP who quit the Labour Party yesterday?

Reuters, 22 February 2019

British lawmaker Ian Austin resigned from the opposition Labour Party on Friday, the ninth person to do so this week, saying it was "broken" and had been taken over by the "hard left".

A Labour lawmaker since 2005 and a former government minister, Austin supports Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal and is not in favour of holding a second referendum, putting him at odds with the other Independent Group members.

Is he part of Bannon's cabal? Incidentally, Jeremy Corbyn also supports Brexit.

yeah there are some who are swayed by right wing "logic". But the truth is there are people pushing a modern form of fascism across Europe and anywhere else they think is ripe for it.
