Today, the conservatives are winning. State Republicans have passed laws to curtail what is taught in college classrooms and installed new university administrators with partisan affiliations, among a host of new strategies to remake a public higher education system that they argue has been held hostage to left-leaning ideas and become hostile to conservative ones.

The University of Texas is one of their main targets.

This is just major butthurt from the radical Left that their idiot views, opinions, and stupidity are actually being challenged on campus and they have zero means to deal with it because they can't use violence or force of government to stop it. If their ideas were worthwhile, this wouldn't be happening. They could put them in the public square without resorting to force and they'd be accepted. But, as history shows, the Left's ideas suck harder than a Kirby vacuum cleaner.

The university system in Texas has produced almost no Nobel Prize winners, while the university systems in California, Massachusetts, New York have produced dozens of Nobel Prize winners.

Texas has never been high on anyone's list for elite higher education.
