Michael Flynn is only the first of what will likely be an ongoing example of tRump using his office for personal or political gain.

In a nutshell, Flynn should have been incarcerated.
 
Keep in mind that it is likely that a large percentage of future tRump pardons have pending litigation. What better way to ensure their "silence" than by granting a pardon.
