you accuse me of historical revisionism at the same time as claiming the candidate who's party passed the Civil Rights Act won because racists crossed over party lines and elected him?..........I'm sure his campaign promise to end the Vietnam War had nothing to do with what happened in 68 did it......

Carter guaranteed the crossover of demmycrats to the Republican Party.....I'm a Reagan Democrat myself and I've never been given a reason to go back.........

When Johnson signed the Civil rights Acts, he said we have lost the south for a generation. It was much longer. Racism has persisted for over half a century.
