You know what I want to see happen?

When these politicians aregetting ready to send our sons and daughters into battle, I want them to walk down to the Vietnam War Memorial. I want them to see the items left at The Wall. Let them see the letters and pictures that people leave there. We have been out of Vietnam for over 30 years, and you can still see the vets and the families there crying. Let them see the pictures of the sweethearts of those who died. Let them see the teddy bears left by the parents who still miss their son (he will always be their little boy).

I had the good fortune to be part of the escort for the travelling Vietnam War Memorial when it came to Birmingham. I was involved because of some friends in the Pistoleros motorcycle club. I was amazed to see these badass, leather wearing hardcore bikers weeping openly when they found the name of a friend or comrade-in-arms.



Let the politicians go and experience that. At least we will know which ones truly have no heart. If they could see that and still be willing to call for war, lets put THEM in uniform and let'em go.

Maybe they should call it "Americans Responsibility" for a damned change. Every citizen should pay a special tax that they have to put a signature under and pay separately to provide the BEST Possible, State of the Art medical (including all mental) , College and job training and family counciling for life for our people who served.

It's "I'm Already Against The Next War". I had one for a while, but I change bumper stickers a lot.
