I recall a night back when I was in college in northwest Iowa....it was about 3 a.m. and I was walking across an empty streetlamp lit parking lot.....I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and turned.....and nearly was frightened out of my wits.....about fifty yards away were three skinny and oddly shaped little men, staring at me.....the light was behind them and all I could see was their silhouette ......they appeared to be about four foot tall and only six inches wide and they were standing on their tip toes......we all froze in our tracks for about thirty seconds.....then first one, then all three dropped back on all fours and hopped rapidly away......the Western Jackrabbit....
