The elites are trying to scare people into putting their childrens future at risk with more debt.
"If you don't let us rack up more debt, we will default" they scream.
That is a lie. Want to know why? Just watch the bond markets. The bond markets rule. If the bond markets even thought there was a sniff of a risk of default, they would be selling off right now. THey are not.
So what really happens if we don't raise the debt limit next week? Well, the gobblement will have to do something that it hasn't done in a very, very, very long time. It will have to actually really cut spending.
You see, tax revenues are still coming in so they will be able to pay for things. They just won't be able to borrow to pay for things. That isn't a bad thing.
They could prioritize the national debt, socialist insecurity and the military and then have to prioritize everything else.
It would be a wonderful thing.
