Sadly, this trillion dollar package won't be the boom, Biden and the democrats are hoping for. So many ppl are so behind on bills, most will use this money JUST TO CATCH UP. I don't see families rushing to Disney Land or Wally world in the near future...most will simply pay on outstanding bills that have piled up for months.

Paying bills is the purpose of the money. Taxpayers shouldn't be paying for Disney Land trips.

LOL, keep your day job pal. If people are behind on bills, then 'catching up' will be an economic boon. Because paying bills is consumer spending. Did you even take a sixth grade economics course?
 
The boom will occur naturally as we open the economy. Soon we will have herd immunity from vaccinations, even with some folks refusing vaccines. Once this occurs and we open the economy growth will be huge for a period and then settle in, it will IMHO, however, be camouflaging a bubble that will hit soon following that boom.

After all, the Biden mis-administration will be giving me one of these checks. Do I need it? Hell no! But I will get one anyway. Maybe I'll go on a vacation somewhere other than the US and spend it... How'd that be?

Keeping the bill collectors at bay until the economy can start up again is about the most we can ask for. If people became prosperous with the stimulus package (going to Disneyland), then it would cause inflation, which would be a bad thing.
