Jim Acosta's about to bid farewell to CNN after being offered the journalism equivalent of a timeout - the midnight shift.

The plot twist? His ratings were actually not too bad for CNN, considering. But apparently, viewership doesn't matter at CNN when you're being shipped off to the graveyard slot.

Looks like CNN's new boss would rather bend the knee to Triumphant Tyrannosaurus Trump than keep their only prime-time performer, such as he was.
