The single biggest threat to Republicans' long-term viability is demographics.

The big picture: The numbers simply do not lie. America, as a whole, and swing states, in particular, are growing more diverse, more quickly. There is no way Republicans can change birth rates or curb this trend — and there's not a single demographic megatrend that favors Republicans.

Populations of racial and ethnic minorities are growing faster than whites, and one of the fastest growing groups consists of those who identify as mixed race. Generally, racial and ethnic groups vote homogeneously, and any group sizably growing or shrinking will have an electoral impact

Trump reelection campaign, will experience the consequences of this demographic shift. This trend drastically limits their ability to grow their voting base and appeal to an increasingly diverse general electorate, given the stance of the president on immigration and his hateful rhetoric towards minorities.

Which is why the criminal element in the GOP is more evident than ever before. The GOP needs members that are willing to lie, cheat and steal in order to maintain power. And they are needed to maintain power in order to do the bidding of the corporate masters and now with the courts packed with corporate tools, these puppet masters have added insurance. The Republican party is a crime syndicate which exists to funnel money to the top as they rob the treasury.

Trump hs nothing to do with minority unemployment. He inherited an economy that was doing that. What he did do was fight every attempt at raising the minimum wage, which would help them. Many states passed an increase in min wage. Trump takes credit for that, the very act he and the Reds fought so hard to prevent.

Why hasn't Gunno told us about the demographic changes before now??

Whites will only be in the minority if you classify Hispanics as non-white. The Census Bureau classifies them as white.

I basically agree with the only exception being the increasing electoral votes toward red states.
