The GOP's main voter bloc is shrinking

A new deep dive into the 2020 electorate by Pew Research contains mostly bad news for Republicans, whose approaching demographic doom is less racial than it is generational. While it shouldn't be news to anyone at this point that young voters are a solidly blue voting bloc, the more worrisome developments for the GOP are the unexpectedly elderly nature of the party's coalition and the unyielding Democratic lean of younger voters as they age. If Pew's numbers are to be believed, the only solidly Republican age demographic last year was 75 and over, meaning that every time the sun comes up, the GOP's struggle to win a majority of American voters gets harder.

Republicans also continue to make up zero ground with young people. This year's Harvard Youth Poll of 18- to 29-year-olds was the same horror show for the GOP that it has been for years, and it included yet another year of newly eligible voters who are repulsed by the dyspeptic, off-putting spectacle of the modern Republican Party

Which is the exact reason the right is into secret donors, election "reforms," and gerrymandering, if you can't win the vote, do your best to control the vote

Reality:

New poll shows how Trump surged with women and Hispanics
https://www.politico.com/news/2021/06/30/new-trump-poll-women-hispanic-voters-497199

Trump made gains with WHITE women and hispanics (mostly an increase in support from Cubans). And in both cases, non college educated.

Next?

Asians and Mexicans have always been more naturally R voters than D voters, and now that the D's have gone Regressively Woke all from Central and South America will trend R....these people have experienced where that train goes....they know better. It was pointed out to you fucks many years ago that this plan to import mass numbers of poor immigrants who would be overwhelming D voters for life thus America would become effectively a one party country was fantasy.

The hate party can't die out soon enough.

Such truly ugly values. They should be ashamed.

Hello MAGA,

no, it is every small business owner, every responsible person trying to get ahead in life. Democrats do not represent the working class, only the filthy elites and the dependent class.

That's incorrect. Plenty of small business owners vote as true BLUE Americans.

Americans who want to be responsible to the country, to their communities, to society, and to the environment vote Democratic.

Hello archives,

Which is the exact reason the right is into secret donors, election "reforms," and gerrymandering, if you can't win the vote, do your best to control the vote

Very true.

If Republicans thought most people really supported them, they would be trying to make voting easier and doing everything they could to make election turnout as large as possible.

But instead, they fear large election turnouts and are trying to do everything possible to make it as difficult to vote as they can, to limit turnout. Especially in working class neighborhoods. No problem in the rich districts. Plenty of locations and voting machines there. Nobody waits in line much there. The way Republicans set up elections, only the poor have to wait in long lines, because Republicans don't want them voting at all.

Polls don't mean anything. You're still believing this set of random numbers is actually news, eh?

Hello MAGA,

That's incorrect. Plenty of small business owners vote as true BLUE Americans.

Americans who want to be responsible to the country, to their communities, to society, and to the environment vote Democratic.

Democrats overthrew the States of NY, CA, and now the federal government. This is NOT supporting the country.
