The great gun purchase thread! (Part 2)

Long story short I have some spare cash, and of course I'm not going to spend it on anything else, so I going to buy a gun. But I cannot decide what to buy. Thus, I come here for opinions. The catch however, is that I am torn between whether I should get a EBR (Evil Black Rifle) or a military surplus rifle. Milsurps are harder to feed because of ammo rarity, but they are also typically more rare as guns go, because they are no longer made or imported. EBRs have better ammo availability, but I have a better chance of them being available later on, not so much with the milsurps.

Part 2 is the milsurp selection.

Choice 1: French MAS 49

Choice 2: Belgian FN49

Choice 3: Russian SVT 40

Choice 4: Swedish AG42

Choice 5: Winchester 1895

Choice 6: VZ 52

You've got my vote there Grind. I love old western guns. I like to use them for one season, kill a couple of deer with them and put them up to admire and shoot once in a while after that.

None of these will be my deer rifle. That slot is filled by my RFB.

But the Winchester WOULD share ammo with some other guns.
