APP - The House will impeach Trump. The Senate will convict

Not because he is guilty of any crime he is not. Nothing he said on Wednesday incited a riot. He never told anyone to do what they did. For anyone to say otherwise is ludicrous.

But, the feckless GOP will go along with it because for four years they have just as opposed to Trump as the democrats. They are only doing this to keep him from running in 2024.

But, rest assured patriots are watching. Democrats are going to do what democrats do. But, the republicans who go along with this will hopefully be drummed out of office via primary.

This is clearly a demonstration of just how insane the Progressive / Left / Democrats hate Trump. If they started this on Monday, they have just over a week to complete the process. Why the hell are they wasting time on this rather than doing the nation's business and ignoring the week or so Trump has left in office?
He'll be gone. That's abundantly clear. Starting another impeachment does nothing but waste time and further divide the nation.

The best course for Republicans is to quietly oppose this while staying out of it as much as possible. Let the Democrats make fools of themselves and present the Senate with new charges. By Friday of next week, it is all rendered irrelevant anyway. The Senate can stall for the remaining days quibbling over how they'll do a trial and such and simply run the clock out.
