The last time

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
I was doing some driving today, so I had some time to ponder some things.

While I was in the middle of my muse, a question came to mind.

What was done to stop the oil leak, the last time that a deep water leak occured??

I only ask; because I haven't seen this referenced.

The only reference I've seen was today on MSNBC. The leak occurred off the coast of California in 1910; clearly they had no technology then comparable to what we presumably have today. The report did state that that "spill" was even greater than the Gulf exudation of today, and that 100 years later, the effects are still being felt.

So basically, this is the first one since 1910.
Is that correct??

A leak occurred near Mexico about 30 years ago. It was only stopped when they drilled a relief well. That's pretty much the only thing that's going to stop this leak; but a relief well is going to take almost a year to drill, by which time my home area will no longer be an area worth living in.

You say that when your homestate is going to be economically destroyed for generation due to some fucker wanting to make a quick fucking buck. Fuck you, I hope you die, and all scum sucking conservative with you.

So, since it appears that the relief well is about the only thing that has been shown to be successfull; why is everyone bitchin about what they thing BP should be doing, when no one knows exactly what is going to stop this??

Sometime it takes a disaster to figure out what to do, for the next time.

They tried all of the things that BP has tried to "fix" this well. It is almost sickening, like they are doing it for no other reason than PR.

Of course you have something that would support your assertion that all the things BP are currently doing, were also available 30 years ago.
