I go to this writer's group once a week. This week one of our regulars a large female who wears goth-like clothing, is a rabid woke Leftist, and wears a facemask, came in and said loudly, "Remind me never to have children!" in response to the small child group in a room across the hall holding a sing-along, etc., session for infants and small children. Sure, their singing and such can get annoying but normal people just zone it out.
Anyway, at the end of our writer's session, I made sure to go up to her and say, "[name] never have children."
She replied, "What?"
To which, with great malice that didn't show, I said, "You asked at the beginning of the session that you wanted to be reminded to never have children. I'm just filling your request."
I don't think she grasped the irony of my statement.
