the modern definition of hypocrisy

why should we expect any integrity from this?

Dont you know? The rich and powerful have always had a double standard! Did you read about the Pharisees??? Did you read the Jewish Talmud?

The blatant hypocrisy of the west has become very obvious in the last few decades. At least since I have been paying attention. It's probably always been that way.

Umm, no, you nailed it. The last few decades. 3 to be precise. 30 years now since corporate tool Ron was elected and sent us down this path.

Nah.... Although that was a major turning point, I believe America's woes began with the introduction of a central bank, then federal reserve, then Roosevelt consolidating the power of the federal reserve. Giving them a total credit monopoly. Which is basically illegal according to the US constitution.

totally agree with this. too many people like to throw all that crap on reagan, but it started very early on in our history.

And what means did he use? The federal reserve. Putting America further in debt to the European Elites that control the reserve.

The main problem was trying to convert a manufacturing economy into a service economy. It made no sense, because no wealth is created by service.

The destruction of the middle class began with Raygun.

What a thread....can't get a decent response to a post from the pinheads....

A post that clearly means to show that Obama is a major hypocrite.....the pinheads immediately turn the topic to Reagan, Roosevelt, the Federal Reserve, and even weirder, to the economy......anything but Obama.

They just can't handle that when its correctly pointed out the Obama is out newest (and best) modern definition of hypocrisy...

Maybe they need other examples until they get the point....

The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. ~

Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

Does this help ?

Agree 1000% and would add passage of the 16th Amendment.

Woodrow Wilson, Teddy, FDR and Lincoln are arguably the worst Presidents in history with regards to weakening our freedoms

They were being strong armed by European elites with deep pockets. Just listen to what Woodrow Wilson states about the federal reserve.

“I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world - no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.” -- Woodrow Wilson

"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the Field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."
Woodrow Wilson, The New Freedom (1913)

"I have never seen more Senators express discontent with their jobs....I think the major cause is that, deep down in our hearts, we have been accomplices in doing something terrible and unforgivable to our wonderful country. Deep down in our heart, we know that we have given our children a legacy of bankruptcy. We have defrauded our country to get ourselves elected." - John Danforth (R-Mo)

"It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

If the people choose to ignore history, they can live with the consequences.

He'll warren Buffett says we should shoot for government revenues of 18% of GDP and government spending of 21%. Now I ain't no financial wizard like Warren, but even a redneck like me can figger out that he is calling for perpetual slavery errrr debt of the American people. And why not, he will have no role in paying it back. He had made his billions

Listen. The people of America talk about being free and all that, but they can never be truly free with a large debt hanging over their heads. They are slaves to taxation and inflation........Sure the rich with all their tax exemptions dont feel it, but the middle class and the poor sure do.

P.S. I am glad we can agree on something ILA.

And you think someone actually meant to convert our manufacturing economy into a service economy ?....

Looks like Obama is trying to convert our economy into a dependence economy....feudalism.....
