Here's Paul Krugman taking on the whole morning zoo crew over at Scarborough country. You have Joe the blustering blowhard, his bobbleheaded ho, Mika, and that frigging Republican schill who gets paid to push republican talking points by MSNBC. All three of them on him, and he makes them look like the fools they are.

This is why I used to have such a crush on Krugman before I met him and he was mean to that old man.

But I kind of started to feel it again watching this.

I think my favorite part is Joe reminiscing on his time in Congress during the great era of bipartisan comity, the Clinton years. What a jackass.

Oh yeah! And I was like, what? And then Krugman went into the real history of how that wasn't bipartisanship that was gridlock, and I was like, right, now I remember. sometimes they can actually gaslight you, they talk so much shit! I start to think I'm crazy because I don't remember any of it.

Why do you watch MSNBC in the morning?
 
So far Krugman, one of the very few Keynesian dinosaurs left and a man who only got a nobel prize for his work on promoting free trade that Liberals hate, is the only recognizable economist from the left to come out in favor of the stimulus.
Contrasted to the hundreds of economists who signed a statement that they are against the stimulus.

Please Dano. The Neo-Keynesian ship is sailing and will in the future take over economics, as neoliberalism has proven to be the same failure it was a century ago. You know nothing about the popularity of economic disciplines.

And Conservatives hate free trade, Pat Buchanan etc... if a minority of liberals choose to take on a conservative opinion, it doesn't change anything.
