It looks like they are going back to the democrat party where they belong. People like Bill Kristol and John Podhoretz are social liberals but love interventionist foreign policy. They are very at home with Hillary Clinton. That is why they despise Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. Who else will they "advise" on international affairs?

People forget that neoconservative means "new" conservative. They were disaffected left wingers who felt that the democrat party was not strong against communism. So they joined the Republican Party. Unfortunately, they have turned the GOP leftward on too many issues.

It will be great to see them back in the democrat party
