You know you can have chickens, right? Americans don't have to rely on corporations to make eggs for them. Chickens make eggs.
You do have to know what you're doing, though. Ain't no diesel prices involved to transport your eggs from your house to your house.

So obvious point, I would rather make a huge amount of money doing what I am good at, and use a tiny amount of that to buy eggs, than spend my time raising chickens to save a tiny amount of money.

I really do not know why I would want to do differently. RFK jr says that he will rise the price of food so much that we will all have to produce our own food... But I really do not think he can do that much damage to the economy.

Maybe Kamala can freeze the price of eggs before she leaves office. That will fix things.

If I were broke, doing a job that has not existed in 50 years, where would I get the money to buy land to raise chickens on?

It is almost always best to specialize, and make as much money as you can to buy the things other people have specialized in. If you want the hobby of baking bread, great, but do not think you are saving money by baking bread.

Nope, you can't use that excuse. Bird flu epidemics wiped out millions of poultry during Biden's term, but MAGA morons blamed Biden for expensive eggs
