A Miami woman recently joined the long list of white people who blame non-existent black people for crimes they themselves committed when she was arrested in the drowning death of her son. This, after she initially told police he was abducted by two black men who were seeking drugs.

The Associated Press reports that 45-year-old Patricia Ripley is looking at attempted and premeditated murder charges for attempting to drown her 9-year-old son, Alejandro Ripley, who was rescued by witnesses the first time but was later drowned during a second attempt an hour later, according to Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle.

Blacks murder twice as many whites than whites murder blacks.

Lets take two hypothetical killers, one black and one white, both firing randomly into a crowd of people. If they both kill five people, and one fifth of the crowd, and the victims are black (the rest being white), then we would expect the black killer to kill four times as many whites as the white killer kills blacks. It is not because the black killer is more violent, but because whites are the majority of the possible victims.

So blacks should be statistically killing more than twice as many, and closer to four times as many... Just based on demographics of the possible victims. Why are whites killing so many more blacks than victim demographics would lead us to believe?

No one really knows. There are a few theories.
