The real world the right faces

this is the direct results of your policy.

Your policy creates huge economic messes that end in people hating your failed policies even more

Is that what happened in the 70's ... The era the article kept comparing the recession to? Not trying to be smart here Desh...it's a serious question.

I was in high school in the 70s

what happened in the 70s was a result of young people being treated like war fodder

The right wing montra of small government without concern for good governance is what the creepy assed cracker party now stands for .

making the government small enough to kill it outright.

when will the right recognize the complete failure of their economic policy?

how many times does it have to fail mankind?

While the recession was a horrible thing, at least this article shows young people might have learned some good (in my opinion) lessons out of it - i.e. to save on resources, help out other people.

They could just have easily learned that unless you're top dog you're going to suffer, so do anything you can to scramble to the top, no matter who you hurt. The growing income inequality shows that top dogs win bigger while everyone else loses.

I'm sorry they had to go through this; they are still suffering re lack of jobs and opportunities. But I hope they did learn a more positive (in my opinion) way to live.

Its what the right wing policy always brings.

when you think corporate raiders are the worlds heros and call people losing their homes just economic fallout that will benefit the country then you end up having people not trusting your ideas much.

Deregulation and "small government" are just crap to justify a world where most lose and a few win.

It is not a very good way to win over the vast majority of voters once they see through the double speak

I read about a kid coming to grips with tough economic times. That is all. I am also seeing that youngsters are thinking similarly now to what they did in the 70's.

Most Americans are not sociopaths.

that is why the historically failed ideas of the republicans will NEVER win the day.

Once people have to live through what they create they hate those ideas.

at least the sane ones

This used to happen to me all the time at usmb.

it got to a point they couldn't deal with me in any way.

then they banned me

At one point I was only allowed to post twice in a row without getting in trouble.

I would obey and they still could not out debate me or FORCE me to break the rules so they could.

They finnaly resorted to just banning me for nothing.

they called threads like this spam

You mean threads where you submit 80% of the posts with nonsense? Yeah, I would call that spamming it too.

The day you actually debate something let us know. Because we have shown to you countless times that the Dems have deregulated under Carter and Clinton, yet you continue to pretend that is not the case or that somehow the Reps made them do it. Add in your complete lack of economic knowledge and your comments are nothing short of buffoonish... like Ditzie 1/3 kind of buffoonish.
