More wonders from the Republican world...
They really believe:
-President Trump's casino business that bankrupted him was an example of 'being a great businessman' by stiffing contractors to overbuild a hopelessly giant Taj Mahal casino which required too much business to sustain the overhead and pay the loans. He was unable to pay the loans, so he went bankrupt. At that point he had a net worth of close to negative one billion dollars. The banks could have foreclosed on all of his properties and sold them to put the proceeds toward his loans, but that would have represented a greater loss than if they kept the profitable properties open and under the Trump name. So they cut a deal to bail out Mr Trump. The upside down properties were closed and sold, the profitable ones continued to operate, and Trump was given an allowance to live on, but not allowed to manage his assets. This, in Republican minds, is an example of 'being a great businessman.'
-President Trump doesn't owe anything to anybody in Russia, and he has never been threatened by anybody in Russia.
-Putin had nothing to do with getting Trump elected. And the KGB is a charitable organization for good.
-Both the FBI and Ukraine tried to get Hillary elected, but they were so bad at it that Trump won anyway.
-The Mueller Report completely exonerated Trump, but it was begun on false pretenses.
-Trump had no reason to try to get dirt on Biden because the polls are all wrong and Trump will win easily in 2020, andin that case it's OK if Russia helps.
-Russia is our friend. Ukraine is our enemy because they have always been corrupt. But we need Giuliani over there to get that Biden dirt and prove that Ukraine was the one who meddled in the 2016 election, even though Trump won anyway.
-The Democrats are so stupid they would wait until a term of office is nearly over before trying to undo the election.
-President Trump cannot be removed from office as long as he can tie up subpoenas in court and prevent insider witnesses from testifying. We wouldn't want to hear what they have to say.
-It is better to listen to the words of President Trump as long as he has not be sworn to tell the truth. President Trump should never be sworn to tell the truth. That would be like a trap to get him on a technicality by asking him the same question at two different times without reminding him what he said the previous time.
-The Access Hollywood video was fake.
-President Trump never lost in court, and never had to pay a settlement to make a bad case go away, such as a charge of fraud in Trump University.
