I was referring to the so-called technological singularity, I should have been more clear I suppose, but I thought rapture for nerds may made it semi-clear.
Usually it concerns itself with artificial intelligence and what will happen once a computer has the capacity of the human brain...and that information and technology will rise exponentially to the point where nearly all information will be at our fingertips ... wikipedia does a good job going over it, far better than i could explain it... go there.
