In a tyrannical kingdom by the sea their live a teenage boy called Rester. One day, Rester discovered in himself a magical talent. He tried not to show it to his parents, but they saw it one day while he was using it to help out with his chores, and punished him severely. For years he kept it to himself. Until one day, he met a boy, who identified himself with the resistance.

He came the resistances meeting place, and there he met a great Elven princess that he immediately fell in love with. But he was taken away, and he showed his magical talent to the village elder. The village elder decided he could use the boy, and so they stayed together, for six months, and he finally learned the ways of the ancients. Then, one day, the empire attacked their little village, and killed the elder and half the resistance.

Rester cried for days, but he, along with the Elven princess, made way to the peaceful southern kingdom of Suriname, where they met up with the Dwarves. It was there that Rester and the Elven princess got married. Together with the Dwarves and the armies of Suriname, they launched a gigantic force against the empire. But soon, Rester kept having dreams, and in the dreams the emporer revealed that he was his father. Torn by love for his father and for freedom, he eventually decided to fight.

In the final battle a big giant came, stepped on them, and they died.
