The US minimum wage through the years

Throughout history, Congress has raised the minimum wage 22 times. The current level, at $7.25 an hour, was set in 2009.

Cities and states have the option of setting their own minimum wages. As of January 2019, 29 states had a minimum wage rate above the federal level.

FDR said the min wage was a living wage and any company that could not pay their workers enough to live on, should not be in business.

Democrats promised to raise it but of course they lied about that to.

So far they haven't kept their word on anything except impeaching Trump.

Hello Nordberg,

FDR said the min wage was a living wage and any company that could not pay their workers enough to live on, should not be in business.

Makes total sense. To have a minimum wage that cannot be lived on would be pointless.

Well? What about it fuck head? What's a"living wage"? You motherfuckers toss terms around but you have no fucking idea what you're talking about. "Living wage" is just something you say but you have no fucking clue what it is. Useless fucks

"Living wage" is a subjective term. Fascism is not good, dude.

Minimum wages are just price controls. They lead to shortages.

Exactly. You are noticing that many people (but especially Demonkkkrats) love to throw around buzzwords as if they are actually saying something that is meaningful. Some words that they commonly use as meaningless buzzwords are:

living wage
climate justice
climate change
climate science
climate scientist
net heat / net flow
pollution
greenhouse gas / greenhouse effect
fossil fuel
gun control
common sense gun laws
global warming
global climate
white supremacy
white privilege
racist / racism
real / reality
(military-style) assault weapon
fascist / fascism
homophobe
xenophobe
democratic socialist
"our Democracy"
The Rich
The Poor

And this is just a small sampling...

Bingo. The other issue is that it is completely subjective as to what is a "living wage".

Exactly but we have to suffer through these morons saying shit like "living wage" and they have no fucking clue what their talking about.

One of my favorites is "social" justice.

Yup... It just sounds nice, so they're all for it, not even knowing what it is. Morons.
