The White House ballroom will never be built

We fight, We win, Am Yisrael Chai
Two months later, it increasingly seems that such discussion was a wasted effort, as the chance this ballroom will actually be built is rapidly disappearing. Perhaps it could have if Trump had delegated the management of the project to someone competent, but that’s not what he did. Instead, the famously lazy and disorganized president decided to blow off his actual governance duties in favor of micromanaging a construction project he is incapable of handling. Finishing the ballroom in the next three years would be difficult for anyone, but it’s quickly becoming clear it will be nearly impossible for the famed real estate tycoon to pull it off.

The whole thing is a too-perfect symbol of Trump’s second administration: They are very good at breaking things, but they don’t know how to create anything of value.

I thought you were going to threaten to suicide bomb it....

You're such a retard, Achmed.

So, a uber-feminist named, Amanda Marcotte gets an op ed published in Salon, a Leftist, Trump hating publication, and it's truth hum?

Marcotte's background is a BA in English literature and zero experience in contracting, construction, or anything related to either field makes her eminently qualified to comment on a major construction project like this ballroom.

Parsing her fact-free article in Salon (linked in the OP), I find nothing--NOTHING--within it that indicates anything close to some reasoning that shows why this project won't be completed. Her rant is nothing but her own, ill-informed, amateurish, TDS laden, opinion.

You foisting your equally worthless opinion on this does nothing to reinforce it. What's your experience with construction and project management? What I see is a project that is progressing about as it should. It being the dead of winter, I'd expect the lead contractor to be focused on ground preparation, and installation of forms and reinforcement (aka rebar) in preparation for pouring the foundation and slab (if one is being used) sometime in late March or April, along with the installation of any buried utility chases or entries and the installation of a weep system / French drainage system to remove ground and rainwater from around and under the building. That's the normal sequence here.

That's the ongoing construction as of Dec 15. Looks to me like they are still doing excavation of the site and preparation of ground for laying the foundation. If I had to guess there's more going in than just an on-grade ballroom here.

Absolutely!

Click-bait at its finest. Low grade libtard dope to keep the heebee jeebeezz at bay. I predict it's done well before Trump leaves office in 7 years. Lol

What kind of retard destroys part of the WH without a detailed plan in place to rebuild

I would like to see a new and improved East Wing......keeping to the old plans to a point but increase its functionality by redos as needed.

I would be ok with making it bigger than it was.

The size and layout of the white house is one of many things that make zero difference in my life.

DonOld was never capable of building anything, he use to hire capable people in the past, but now that his reputation has caught up with him, capable people want no part of his mess.
