What a great job and amazing self control!

The only reason I'd say Obama should get credit, he did not have much to do with it, is because all the critizsim he's taken in the last couple of days.
 
I'm glad he's caught, I'm glad he's alive so we can know the story, and I'm glad no one else was hurt.

But...the only thing that Obama might have had to do with it is to call the director of the FBI and say "I want every resource available on this now!". After that? He was running the country and getting updates....probably watching coverage on TV like the rest of us.

Congrats to our law enforcement though....case closed within a week, and target was taken alive...so more information may be coming
 
If Dixie can blame the President, I should be able to give the president credit!
 
Well, he was living in the #2 most elite state in the US among some of our greatest thinking citizens and his brother went to MIT, so he certainly has something going for him that your average thug is lacking.

Didn't call him a thug...didn't say he wasn't intelligent. Just saying that he's a 19 year old kid who most likely wasn't trained by anyone...other than maybe his brother. He's not a "pro".
 
I just couldn't resist playing off of my states ranking thread and my elitism. If the brothers would have grown up in Alabama and the an older one had attended Auburn, all it would take is dangling roadkill in front of this kid from a fishing pole, and he would sing out with everything useful he knows. He would be one dumb Chechen.
 
the bad news.....apparently Obama pulled a hamstring while running the bomber down and now he will be unable to give Tiger Woods further golfing lessons for nearly a week.....
