Can you understand that an illegal or a new entrant would not vote. They came to work and help their family. They would not jeopardize their jobs and futures to vote in an election that is not even in their country. What do they know about our elections? The same as you know about the elections in their country....nothing. Illegals do not qualify for assistance. No, it doesn't. The federal voter registration form and law as currently enacted requires you attest or affirm under penalty of perjury that you are a US citizen and eligible to register to vote. No ID needed. Many states, particularly red ones, require those registering to provide proof of residence and citizenship to register to vote in state and local elections.

In most, virtually all, states, you can register to vote when you get a driver's license. No proof of citizenship is necessary to do so.

Section 9 of the NVRA provides that the national mail voter registration application may require only such identifying information (including the signature of the applicant) and other information (including data relating to previous registration by the applicant), as is necessary to enable the appropriate State election official to assess the eligibility of the applicant and to administer voter registration and other parts of the election process.

The application also must include a statement that specifies each eligibility requirement (including citizenship), contain an attestation that the applicant meets each such requirement and require the signature of the applicant under penalty of perjury. The mail application must also include a statement of the penalties provided by law for submission of a false voter registration application.

They may not vote for whatever reason, but there's little to nothing standing in the way of them registering to vote, particularly in blue states where they can get a driver's license and voter registration is automatic unless they decline.

There are plenty of Leftist 'Get out the vote' sort of NGO 503(c) groups out there that don't give a shit about citizenship and voting, only getting people to vote for their preferred candidates. They will make it seem it's perfectly legal for some illegal to vote without actually saying so. What is some dumbfuck illegal with a 5th grade education, maybe, going to think? They do vote because they're asked to or even paid to.
