Single Payer is coming. The progressives have won the day. Even when the Republicans control all 3 branches of the government the progressives get what they want.

I've searched the internet endlessly to try to get a rational estimate from somebody worth respecting on just what Single Payer would cost America and Americans. There are no rational respectable estimates. The only thing we can find is what California and Vermont estimated their cost would be and decided it'd never get through their legislatures.

Let's see, America is the world's police force, the United Nations military conscience and enforcement arm. America finances most of NATO for the Europeans and is financially responsible for the operation of 10 nuclear powered aircraft carriers to keep the world's sea lanes open and protected. America has Social Security and billions of dollars expenditures for social engineering, socialist programs, that are all wallowing in red ink. America has a 20 trillion $ National Debt and now our fearless leaders in the Swamp are considering Single Payer Healthcare? They're bleeping kidding us, right?
 
Free market system can't handle health care, we have to be about the only developed nation in the world that hasn't admitted this reality, some form of single payer is going to happen eventually
 
I'm all for single payer, I just disagree that, that payer should be the federal government. Everything the Fed Swamp does cost us at least 10 times what it should and is always infested with magnificent amounts of fraud.
