This 108-year-old woman survived the 1918 Spanish flu and Covid-19

Living long to see your family grow like that is not a curse.

I got to know my great-grand-parents. Plenty to learn from them.

From what I have seen of you they didn't teach you anything except stupidly and ignorance and to hate America were they commies ?

You were sure blessed. I have always regretted that we never got to see our g-parents but once a year.

Re the OP: What an amazing story! Thanks for sharing it. Wow.

I will be 50 next year. That means if I live for 50 more years (2071), I'd have plenty of stories to share.

What new technologies will we see? Holograms? Touchable 3D models and movies? DNA changes? Quantum communications and Internet? Colonization on the moon and mars?

It makes being blessed to grow older that much more interesting, for sure!

It could be worse. I heard an interview with a Japanese guy who was in Hiroshima during the Abomb. He survived and quickly moved to Nagasaki.

Grandpa Crozier lived to 95, Grandma to 93.

They both thought that this was entirely too long...the it would have been nice if God had taken them earlier.
