I thread ban them when I create the post. I have found the above four members to be trolls of the utmost order, but some would disagree. I am not here to try to convince them otherwise. The other is a mod that I threadban for general principle.

Ahh. But back to the topic at hand, I spoke to some of these clowns when they "Occupied" Buffalo in Niagara Square and found them to be totally clueless, spouting mindless Leftist talking points about the "Evil Rich", "Social Justice" (whatever that is), and other nonsensical bullshit.

It highlights a serious failing of conservatism. Conservatives allowed the leftists to take over the education and media conglomerates in this country. So with that, they control the popular culture and the educational system of our young. They are powerful forces and we are obviously seeing the repercussions of unchecked liberalism on the minds of the young.

For too often we have assumed that eventually these mind numbed robots would grow up and reality would smack them in the face. That isn't happening anymore. Look at all of the popular movies these days. All of the villains are evil capitalists. Even Bond films. It used to be that Bond was battling evil commie pricks. Now he is fighting off some Big Corporation guy.

Whether we want to admit it or not, these messages have a powerful effect on the psyche of the young and impressionable and are difficult to overcome even with hard cold facts and reality staring them in the face.

Agreed. So what to do? We, as Conservatives, need to be more aggressive with our message. Hell, if Liberals can proudly proclaim their support of Communism with impunity, why should Conservative cower?

I agree we can't shy away from our message. But, it goes further than that. We need to find good people who can articulate conservatism at the national level. Sarah Palin was one but she got savaged by not only the left (which I expect), but the so called right (which I didn't).

It used to frustrate the crap out of me when I would never hear so called conservatives like George Will, Krauthammer et al never defend the Reagan years when libs would throw out their bullshit. They would just let it slide. Then it dawned on my after the Bush years that the GOP really isn't much different than the democrats. I realized that true conservatives have no real party that advocates their interests.

Democrats will always be democrats and push for big government
Republicans are democrat lite and more worried about having bad things said about them than doing the right thing. Oh they will say the right thing during primaries, but when push comes to shove they bend over and grab their ankles
Libertarians just think they are too cool for school. It gives them the opportunity to advocate for smoking pot and say that they aren't part of the other two.

So in the end, in my opinion, conservatives have no party advocating their interests. Now we can try to change the GOP, but that hasn't been working out so well as the establishment has no desire to change and the left on their side.

Honestly, I say let the whole thing crash and start over. The sooner it does, the sooner we can pick up the pieces

what happened to the Tea Party and why do their elected reps keep re-upping the Patriot act?
And why do they keep voting for RINO's?

I can offer my opinion, but as I am in the inter circle of the Obama administration, I am not privy to the inner workings of the Eric Holder led Justice Dept.

The reason Blankfein is not languishing in jail is because he is one of the "elite" along with the Washington establishment. Take a look sometime at all of the high ranking gobblement officials who at one time worked at Goldman Sachs. It would make your head spin.
