I find all religious ritual odd, just saying that up front. This video has gone viral and it's a recording of Secret Mormon Ritual...it's secret because that's the way the Mormons want it. They are not a forth coming group. I'm posting it here for information. Keep in mind that Mitt must have offered something really good recently to have Mormonism removed as a cult. I was, and still am, concerned about Dominionist Christian fundamentalism....this doesn't look any less scary to a secularist.

You may not believe this but a lot of this sillyness is staged for American tourists who are, generally, dumb enough to believe everything they are told. Where it is not, it is definitely tongue in cheek. Oh, and Morris dancing is not a religion and has an extremely small following.
It is performed to a limited musical repetoire consisting mostly of overweight people saying in very un British, strident tones, 'Gee Martha, ain't that cute. Doncha just lurve English culture? Go stand next to the guy with the bells and I'll take your picture for the folks back home.'

Right, Morris dancing (which originated in the late 15th century) isn't a strange ritual like Mormonism, because it's practiced by ludicrous Limeys, who entertained American tourists with it during the Tudor era...
