I don't think he did. Sessions is a suckup of major proportions, but I don't think he realized the price Trump would exact from him. When Bush nominated Harriet Miers for the Supreme Court, Sessions was the guy who they sent out to speak about her. While he calling her "the single most qualified person in the country" for the seat, the slightly more honest Repubs were withdrawing her in shame. I have never had an ounce of respect for him. I hope Trump destroys his career. Trump would do it out of spite and his idea of fun. But fuck sessions.
