In another early win for organized labor, President Joe Biden on Tuesday requested that all 10 members of a key federal panel—who were appointed by his predecessor—immediately resign, and then fired the two appointees who refused to do so.

As Government Executive noted, former President Donald Trump had stacked the Federal Service Impasses Panel (FSIP), which handles disputes between agencies and unions during collective bargaining negotiations, "with anti-labor partisans, most of whom lacked experience in labor-management relations or conflict resolution."

Everett Kelley, president of the American Federation of Government Employees—which represents over 700,000 government workers and had accused the Trump appointees of improperly favoring agencies—told Bloomberg Law that "FSIP is a critical component in the federal negotiating process, and we look forward to President Biden's future picks issuing just decisions, unencumbered by political interference.

Although presidents have previously replaced all panel members, Bloomberg Law pointed out that Biden acted more quickly than his predecessors
 
The diseased orangutan Donald Trump recruited all of his appointees from a universe of perverted criminals.
The ones who can't be fired must be isolated from any meaningful government activity if the process of repairing the republic, the possibility of which is not by any means assured, can even begin.
 
Surely this isnt the same tRump who used substandard labor (often times illegals) to work on his projects then often times screwed them out of their money. This just couldn't be the same patriotic tRump that loved his country so much......lmao

Interpreted... The President of the AFGE union didn't like the members on a board that arbitrates between agencies in the government and the union on issues so he along with others in the Biden administration decided to pack the panel with union hack friendly membership to screw the very government Biden is supposedly running...

Each and every president has the choice and opportunity to select their own board members, cunt face. Mr. Trump did exactly the same thing when he entered office. Do you work hard at being a total ignoramus, or is it just natural?

Each and every cabinet member has been chosen on the basis of their knowledge, capability and experience. A far cry from the people trump chose solely on their loyalty to him, while experience never mattered. If he liked a guest of Fox, he hired them.

Doesn't change what I stated. It'll be union hacks this time and the public getting screwed rather than business / management / government hacks and the union getting screwed.

I could care less either way. AFGE is a crap union and really doesn't have much bargaining power in any case. Their primary functions are to collect dues, make campaign contributions to Democrats, and protect poor and incompetent workers from being fired from the civil service.
