Yeah I mentioned that in other thread. Someone said they hone their practice and skills here first before doing it elsewhere.
And yes you're right... it can sway people when done right, but then again, trolls from both sides would just sway almost equal number of people (my opinion). But it's hard to sway sane and intelligent people.

Trolling is often an issue of mental health. A lot of the biggest trolls get a trigger fulfillment in much the way an OCD like me does from getting clean. It's a bit different than me or you poking fun at someone being an ass. I'm sure RB thinks I'm a troll but reactionary sass isn't trolling. Trolling has no triggers it's there to be the trigger.

I get what you mean. it's some kind of cleansing. But that doesn't really answer my question though.
Like I said, a good answer is trolling is to keep those in place on their side, not to sway anybody.

The usual troll isn't trying to do stuff with political reasoning they just do it for shits and giggles. What people consider paid trolls are more disinformation hacks than trolls. A true troll will play whatever side gets the best reaction and the troll is the reward.

I know the term "troll" means someone who tries to make people mad. Not what I mean.
And yes as I have said I am buzzed.
I like the term disinformation hacks. Basically people paid to bullshit the masses. Their gain is pay and the recruiters gain is political disinformation corrupting voters. A troll's gain is always the troll. It doesn't mean a troll couldn't use their so-called skill to take a payday.
