Yes, and actor. By chance I have seen some pretty interesting interviews with him. Unique guy. Nothing like his on stage persona, Very rough upbringing at the hands of an abusive dad. There is a scene in the movie where he talks about his Dad holding a knife to his throat which as it turns out was actually taken from his real life past. He is the classic sad clown. Poor guy. Puts on the happy face to hide the sadness he carries. People who abuse children are among the lowest form of life on Earth IMO. Physical scars can heal over time but mental scars can last a lifetime.
