Most people watching the NBA closely find Phoenix the most exciting team to watch and they do not play defense.

I don't watch nba specifically because of the lack of defense. I love NCAA.

My sentiments exactly. If I only get channels 4 and 5 and the NBA is playing on channel 4 and some science show documenting the mating habits of poison dart frogs is all that's on channel 5.........I'm watching channel 5. I absolutely hate the NBA.

I thoroughly enjoy NCAA men's and women's games though.

Well the Detroit vs. San Antonio finals was one of the lowest rated ever finals and both teams were very defense oriented. Tim Duncan who is an amazing fundamentals, defensive guy is ofted derided as the most boring superstar in sports.

I'm just not buying it, NBA fans gear more to a fast paced offensive game and those games get better ratings.

Well I'm not going to all of a sudden watch one nba series because they decided to be more defensive. I just don't care about the nba in general and it is because it is just offense.

Of course NBA fans gear more to a fast paced offensive game. If they weren't they wouldn't be called nba fans.
