Tony Bennett Was Awesome Last Night.

Forget about a 95 year old still having that much voice left.
How does one even remember that many lyrics at such an age?

I'll be honest. Frank Sinatra was my favorite growing up,

Tony Bennett was always a nice, likable guy from day one..
Sinatra was more of a prick with whom I could much more easily identify.

Also, Sinatra embraced his Italian ethnicity and even played on it.
Bennett changed his name.

So yes, Sinatra will always be the king of saloon singers for me.
But nobody, not even Frank, was a better saloon singer than Tony Bennett.
The guy has been absolutely amazing.
Having seen him in person multiple times, I never didn't get more than my money's worth.

As for Lady GaGa, how did somewhat with that much talent manage to fuck herself up that much?
She has a stupid name, a contrived look, and more tats than Amy Winehouse.
But she's one of my people too, and she's really, really good performing grown up material.

Surprised he's still alive, but that's cool.
 
I'm not erasing the recording. That show was a keeper.
I'm told it was a repeat from August, but I don't know how I missed it.

I may have had a shitty day on the golf course and spent the rest of the day and night sulking. It happens.
